Glycerin is a multifunctional ingredient that can be used in all genres of make-up. It is a clear, odorless liquid that is predominantly used to create a wet look, high shine effects, or to complete your SFX creation.

Use in the SFX/Film area: 

Impression of sweat: with Glycerin you can create the impression of sweat. Apply with a sponge or mix with a little water and spray through pump bottle for a more intense effect. 

Shine of burns: Glycerin is used to simulate the shine of burns such as the characteristics of acid burns. In this case, layer it with a brush on top of the applied color details.

Impression of human sebum: Glycerin can be placed inside an artifical wound or cut effecte to give the impression of human sebum, This is best achieved using brush. Glycerin mixed with PUS Effect or any bllod from the Kryolan blood ranges gives a more transparent appearance of various bodily fluids created in trauma.

Use in the Fashion/Beauty area: 

For an extreme dewy finish Glycerin can be mixed with Tinted Moisturizer. It is best applied with a brush. 

On set it effective hydrates the lips as a preparation for any lip application afterwards. 

Glycerin mix with Shimmering Event Foundation creates a wet look on the body.
